A Career Dedicated to Women’s Health

Dr. Rehab Alsaleh has built a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, medical education, departmental leadership, and physician training. Her professional journey reflects a long-standing commitment to advancing women’s healthcare while preparing future generations of medical professionals.

She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ibn Sina National College (ISNC) in Jeddah, alongside her work as a Senior Consultant in women’s health.

Academic Leadership at Ibn Sina National College

Since 2016, Dr. Alsaleh has contributed to medical education at ISNC, with active involvement in teaching undergraduate students in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her responsibilities include developing educational and training programs for fifth- and sixth-year medical students, coordinating examinations and rotations, distributing workloads among faculty members, and supporting quality-focused administrative processes.

Her academic work reflects her commitment to connecting clinical knowledge with practical medical training.

More Than Three Decades in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Alsaleh’s clinical experience spans more than three decades, including extensive service at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia and MCH Maternity Hospital in Jeddah.

As an OB-GYN Senior Consultant, she provided care for both high- and low-risk patients and performed major and minor operative procedures alongside outpatient clinical services.

Her experience also includes teaching more than 1,500 undergraduate and 300 postgraduate medical students, covering fundamental and advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology skills.

Leadership in a Major Regional Maternity Center

During her tenure with the Ministry of Health, Dr. Alsaleh served as Deputy Head of the OB-GYN Department at MCH Maternity Hospital.

In this capacity, she helped organize OB-GYN services at a referral center serving the western region of Saudi Arabia and coordinated the work of a team of more than 50 doctors across different professional levels.

Her leadership combined clinical service delivery, workforce coordination, and medical education within a major maternity-care environment.

A defining element of Dr. Alsaleh’s career is her focus on knowledge transfer.

Her extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate education reflects her stated interest in passing clinical expertise to upcoming generations of physicians.

With experience spanning patient care, physician training, academic coordination, and departmental leadership, she brings a multidimensional perspective to women’s healthcare.

Education & Professional Development

Dr. Alsaleh earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from King Saud University and completed a Master’s degree in Medical Education from Swiss Kanal University.

She also undertook an OB-GYN training program during her residency at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
