Asalah Sameer Ashgar is a Saudi architectural engineer whose career reflects a strong blend of technical expertise, project management, and site leadership. With experience across major infrastructure and architectural projects, she specializes in architectural supervision, QA/QC, multidisciplinary coordination, and project execution.

Leading Architectural Excellence

Since June 2024, Ashgar has served as an Architectural Engineer with Dar Al-Handasah on the Haramain High Speed Railway project in Jeddah. She supervises architectural works including finishes, landscaping, precast panels, and furnishing while reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, BOQs, variation orders, and as-built drawings.

She also leads architectural supervision teams, coordinates with structural and MEP disciplines, conducts inspections and commissioning, and ensures contractors comply with quality, safety, and project requirements. Her role includes representing the site team in technical and management meetings with clients and contractors.

Building Expertise in Major Projects

Previously, Ashgar served as a Project Engineer with SSTPC on the Haramain High Speed Railway, managing architectural drawings, fit-out works, finishing materials, furniture suppliers, tender documentation, and subcontractor coordination. She also supervised wayfinding and signage implementation, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Her earlier experience as a Site Architect at Almousa Real Estate strengthened her capabilities in site supervision, client coordination, quality control, progress monitoring, and architectural documentation.

Education, Certification & Technical Strength

Ashgar holds a degree in Architecture Design from Effat University and a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Jeddah University.

She is a PMP® certified professional and a certified architect with the Saudi Council of Engineers, complemented by training in project planning, sustainability, OSHA standards, and project management.

Her technical expertise includes AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM coordination, shop drawing review, and architectural as-built documentation.
