In Saudi Arabia’s transforming beauty economy, Manal Al-Abyadh represents a new generation of leaders who moved from corporate mastery to entrepreneurial force.
Today, she is the Founder & CEO of EIGHTFIFTY — a proudly Saudi-born beauty brand built with global standards — and the architect behind what industry peers once coined as “Manalization”: the discipline of transforming untapped potential into scalable commercial success.
Her career is not a sequence of roles. It is a blueprint of category engineering.

Manal’s journey began at Panda Retail Company, where she developed her commercial instincts through private label development and retail operations.
There, she mastered assortment planning, supplier negotiations, and consumer decision tree strategy — building a data-driven approach that would later define her leadership style.
She learned early: retail growth is not guesswork. It is structured precision.

Her most formative chapter unfolded at Nahdi Medical Company, where she spent seven years building and scaling the beauty category nationwide.
Rising from Category Manager to Senior Category Manager (Cosmetics), she led supplier partnerships, optimized assortments, and elevated beauty into a strategic growth engine for the organization.
It was during this period that colleagues began calling her approach “Manalization” — a maximization methodology focused on scaling emerging Saudi brands into multi-million-riyal success stories through disciplined execution.

Manal later joined Chalhoub Group as Senior Category Manager, strengthening her expertise in premium beauty ecosystems.
Managing luxury portfolios refined her ability to balance brand equity with commercial return — a rare dual capability spanning both mass and high-end retail.
Before transitioning fully into entrepreneurship, Manal served as National Key Accounts Manager – KSA Consumer Beauty at Coty Arabia, where she led commercial strategy across major retail channels in Saudi Arabia.
Her role focused on revenue acceleration, distribution excellence, and aligning global beauty portfolios with Saudi market dynamics.
Resigning from corporate leadership marked not a departure from scale — but a commitment to building it independently.
With over a decade of category mastery behind her, Manal identified a clear gap in the Saudi market: a full-solution sun care and lifestyle brand rooted in local identity yet benchmarked against international standards.
That vision became EIGHTFIFTY.
Under her leadership, the brand reflects her corporate precision and entrepreneurial boldness — structured, performance-driven, and strategically positioned beyond seasonal trends.
EIGHTFIFTY is not just a product line. It is a Saudi brand built for global readiness, aligned with Vision 2030’s ambition for economic diversification and homegrown excellence.

Manal holds an MBA from the University of Business & Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from King Abdulaziz University.

Now fully dedicated to entrepreneurship, Manal represents a new archetype of Saudi leadership — disciplined, analytical, and relentlessly growth-focused.
Through Manalization and EIGHTFIFTY, she continues to prove one defining principle:
Scale is engineered.
Legacy is built.
