A Career Shaped By Design Excellence
Ranah has developed her expertise across a wide range of project environments, including architectural development, BIM modeling, construction coordination, and claims work. At MBL, she played a key role as Senior Architect on the Oceanarium project, coordinating design documentation, overseeing quality, and supporting implementation in close collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and BIM teams. She also served as a Claim Engineer on the SPMI and MOD project, managing high-volume subcontractor coordination and payment certificate processes under pressure.
These experiences strengthened her ability to navigate complex workflows while maintaining clarity, accuracy, and momentum. They also reflect her versatility as a professional who can move between design, technical coordination, and operational execution with confidence.
Architecture With Cultural Depth
Before stepping into major infrastructure and delivery roles, Ranah built a strong foundation in architecture and heritage work. At Freyssinet Saudi Arabia, she worked as a BIM Architect on major projects such as Diriyah Square Super Basement, Formula One Bridges, and Jeddah Cultural Square, using digital tools to improve coordination, resolve clashes, and support documentation. Her work connected architectural precision with broader cultural and urban ambitions.
She also contributed to heritage documentation at Virtual Architecture Office, where she used photogrammetry, 3D scanning, and imaging tools to help document historic houses in Jeddah. This experience reflects her belief that architecture is not only about building new spaces, but also about preserving identity and memory. Her work in heritage conservation adds depth to her design perspective and reinforces her connection to place.

Mishlaq-Studio And Creative Direction
As the Founder and Creative Director of Mishlaq-Studio, Ranah extends her architectural thinking into spatial storytelling, interiors, furniture, and exhibitions. The studio is rooted in the idea that contemporary design can carry memory, culture, and craftsmanship into new forms. Its work reflects a thoughtful balance between modern expression and cultural continuity.
This creative practice shows Ranah’s broader vision as a designer and strategist. She is not limited to conventional architecture; she is building a practice that explores how spaces can communicate identity, shape experience, and create emotional resonance. That makes her work especially distinctive in a region where design is increasingly linked to heritage, innovation, and community meaning.
Education And Professional Growth
Ranah holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Effat University and a Master of Science in Architecture & Urbanism, also from Effat University. Her academic background gave her both technical grounding and a broader urban perspective, helping her approach projects with a deep understanding of form, function, and context.
She also completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, further strengthening her leadership and strategic mindset.
