Her role encompasses producing analytical reports and policy briefs that inform senior-level decision-making, managing PMO functions for multi-stakeholder initiatives, and coordinating cross-agency collaborations to align national efforts in the cultural sector. Alongside her work at the Ministry of Culture, Manal leads Riyadh Animal Rescue, a nonprofit initiative she founded to advance animal welfare in Saudi Arabia. She focuses on building strategic partnerships with veterinary providers, designing effective fundraising campaigns, and fostering collaboration with local organizations to develop sustainable adoption programs. She leads stakeholder engagement across individuals, private-sector partners, and nonprofit actors, and structures operational workflows including intake coordination, adoption screening, and partner communication. Prior to her current roles, Manal served as Partnership Consultant for WriteReader, a Danish education technology company, where she led stakeholder mapping and partnership development for entry into the Saudi market. She engaged government, educational, and cultural institutions, prepared bilingual strategic materials for executive stakeholders, and tracked engagement pipelines to inform expansion strategy. She also worked as a Museum Educator with Threads Culture at The National Museum in Riyadh, where she designed creative educational programs, led a STEAM project for science communication, and wrote and presented engaging workshops on history and art.

Linguistic Expertise And Refugee Support Across The United States

Manal’s background in linguistics, education, and cross-cultural communication adds a unique dimension to her profile. She served as an Arabic Linguistics Specialist in the United States, developing personalized curriculums for Arabic language learners and creating engaging lessons on Arabic culture and history. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Linguistics at Florida Atlantic University, she facilitated cross-cultural discussions on language structure and use, provided one-on-one academic support, and designed supplementary instructional materials for challenging concepts in phonetics, syntax, and sociolinguistics.

Her commitment to inclusion and service was evident in her roles as an Arabic Interpreter, Community ESL Educator for refugee support, and English Second Language Instructor. She established communication between refugee families and Social Services, interpreted legal, medical, and educational documents, and designed lessons tailored to the unique needs of refugees. Through organizations such as World Relief, the Winnebago County Literacy Council, and Paper Airplanes, she helped students navigate linguistic and cultural transitions, build confidence, and access education and community resources.

Manal holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Florida Atlantic University and two Bachelor’s degrees—from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh—in Biology/Biological Sciences and in English Language and Literature.
