Khalid Aldhafeeri is an emerging future leader and internationally certified supply chain strategist known for reliability, adaptability, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement. He combines hands-on operational experience with strategic thinking, driving cost efficiency, performance optimisation, and resilient logistics operations across complex shipping environments.
At SIPCHEM, Khalid plays a pivotal role in Bulk Chemical Chartering, where he has transformed chartering performance through data-driven decisions and sharp market insight. He optimised the chartering strategy to save 2.4 million dollars through targeted market analysis and renegotiated terms, while also generating more than 500,000 dollars in net profit through trading initiatives. He further set a new benchmark for cost efficiency by achieving the company’s lowest freight rate in 25 years, demonstrating his ability to align commercial acumen with operational execution.

Before stepping into his current chartering leadership role, Khalid contributed significantly to SIPCHEM’s Supply Chain Excellence as part of the Outbound Logistics – Bulk Shipping Operation. He led a crucial tie-in project that expanded the EDC product loading line from one to three berths, easing port congestion, reducing demurrage costs, and boosting vessel turnaround efficiency. Earlier, as an Outbound Logistics Planner for Bulk Shipping Documentation, he implemented a paperless documentation system that reduced paper usage by 98 percent, cutting annual prints from 15,000 to fewer than 700 pages and aligning logistics operations with sustainability and efficiency goals.
Khalid’s career foundation spans road tankers, truck operations, and frontline customer service, giving him a 360-degree understanding of logistics and supply chain realities. His experience as an Outbound Logistics Planner for road tankers and as a Truck Operator sharpened his appreciation for on-the-ground constraints, safety, and time sensitivity. Earlier, in his role as a showroom salesman at Jarir Bookstore, he was recognised as Employee of the Month in October for outstanding sales performance and superior time management, reflecting his work ethic and customer-focused mindset long before stepping into strategic roles.
Khalid’s professional growth is reinforced by a strong and unconventional educational journey. He holds a Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Skills from Jubail Technical Institute, providing him with a technical backbone that supports his analytical approach to logistics and operations. He is also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University through an intensive night and weekend program while maintaining a demanding, decision-making role in chartering at SIPCHEM, a path that required working multiple jobs and demonstrates exceptional resilience and discipline.

His commitment to excellence is further validated by international professional credentials. Khalid holds the CILT International Certificate in Logistics and Transport and the CISCM (Certified International Supply Chain Manager), among other global certifications, positioning him as a globally aligned practitioner with deep expertise in shipping, negotiation, procurement, and supply chain management. These qualifications complement his practical achievements and affirm his capacity to operate at international standards.
Khalid sees supply chain and logistics as powerful levers for organisational growth, competitiveness, and sustainability. He is driven by a clear vision: to turn every operational challenge into a measurable improvement opportunity, whether through smarter chartering strategies, leaner logistics processes, or technology-enabled documentation systems. With proven strengths in shipping, logistics management, transportation, negotiation, and inventory management, he continues to build a profile as a dependable problem-solver and strategic contributor, ready to shape the future of supply chain leadership in the region and beyond.
At The Saudi Leaders, we proudly recognise Mr. Khalid Aldhafeeri for his remarkable journey, resilience, and strategic impact in transforming supply chain and chartering operations, and celebrate his continued rise as one of the region’s promising future leaders.
